In a letter dated February 23 and addressed to members of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, called the Coalition for Vaccine Safety (CVS) for Congressional hearings to investigate and examine the role of Health and Human Services (HHS) department and its agencies and to assess their performance by providing the vaccine safety.1

“Congress must consider the demands of HHS and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that vaccines are safe, with a jaundiced eye. The existing data on vaccine safety is clearly insufficient and does not meet the requirements of the public trust. ”

CVS continues to emphasize that HHS failed to comply with the mandates of Congress in a 1986 law called the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Compensation Act 1986. This law, now codified as 42 United States Code: 300A-1 to 300A-34, reduced the potential liability of vaccine manufacturers from vaccine damage claims.2 This law created the National Vaccine Program ‘compensation (NVICP).

As CVS letter also stated, the requirements of the Department of Health under the law of the State agency must conduct tests and research to reduce vaccine-related injuries and did not. So far, no evidence or studies that include both vaccinated and unvaccinated children were little control over the terrain and adverse reaction reporting is happening, and all HHS is ignoring its duty.

In addition, HHS has also ignored the spirit and intent of the Act on the fight against autism in 2006 (now Act No. 109-416 of the public) 0.3 CVS calls this provision because of the upcoming release a finding by the Federal Court of Claims in its Autism Omnibus proceedings. This includes test cases for the possible link between thimerosal (a preservative containing mercury) and autism.

The letter goes on to point out some examples of suppressed science, conflicts of interest in the hearings and trials, and more. These include several cases of prominent physicians and medical groups question the vaccination and the lack of research on the causes of autism and its possible links with vaccination. Conflicts of interest between those responsible for deciding on autism and vaccine research links are also well documented.

This includes a former CDC director Dr. Julie Gerberding who is now President of the vaccine maker4 known and his statements to CNN in 2008, so that his knowledge of links with industry health and vaccines containing the characteristics of autism.

The letter is powerful, full of information, and were copied to the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee as well.
